I get asked a lot about what I do to try and stay in shape after having two kids. The truth is I just try my best and that means that some weeks I may workout 3, sometimes 4 days a week, and other weeks I can barely manage one day. I do all of my workouts at home in my bedroom and keep all of my equipment in my closet when not in use. There was a time even before kids when I was 30 lbs heavier than I am now and I simply wasn’t very happy with myself at that weight. I believe that all body shapes and sizes are beautiful but there is nothing wrong with striving to improve yourself and live a healthier lifestyle. You have to do what makes you happy. If you have seen many of my Instagram stories you know I love to indulge in delicious foods so I try to balance it as best I can. My kids are only 16 months apart so my body didn’t have very long to recover in between pregnancies. I started regularly working out around March 2018 when I was 6 months postpartum with my second child. I am now back to my weight from before both babies which I am definitely happy about but still working on maintaining and improving on my strength. I will probably always have loose skin on my belly now but that is okay because two babies lived in there! I get most of my workout inspiration from Instagram fitness bloggers. I love lifting weights and incorporating a little bit of HIIT. Some of my favorite exercise include squats, dead lifts, bench press, hip thrusts, bent shoulder flys, lunges, tricep dips, and bicep curls.
