Fox Pest Control Termite Services

Fox Pest Control Corpus Christi offers services to both exterminate existing termites and prevent future termite infestations. Termites cause about $5 billion of property damage each year! Your home is an investment, so if you see signs of termites don’t wait! Seeking professional help is always the best choice.

My Fox Story

We just closed on selling our home last Friday and I’m so excited to start our next family adventure! Our home received 17 offers in less than 48 hours and we were very proud that so many people loved our home. One major selling point our home offered was that it was recently treated with Sentricon by Fox Pest Control! During a routine pest prevention service, our technician noticed signs of former termite activity. They didn’t find any active infestations, but we wanted to be proactive in protecting our home. Our technician scheduled our Sentricon installation and the entire process was so easy. We were given peace of mind knowing our home would be termite free. This also made our home inspections a breeze throughout the selling stages, which can normally be stressful with older homes. I definitely plan to call Fox Pest Control when our new home is ready, and let them take care of all my pest prevention needs!

How Sentricon Works

Fox Pest Control offers same day services. If you see signs of termites, give them a call and they will throughly inspect your property. Your home will get a customized termite treatment plan. Bait stations are installed in the ground all around your home and they begin working immediately. The termites share this new “food” with the rest of the colony. The bait used prevents termites from molting which causes them to die. Fox will regularly follow up throughout the year to ensure the termites don’t return.

Signs of Termites

There are some common signs to look out for if you’re not sure if you have a termite problem.

  • Mud tunnels- These are cylinder-shaped pathways termites leave behind when looking for food. They look like branches of dried mud attached to the side of poles, house foundations, metal fences, and other places.
  • Swarmers- These are winged termites that look similar to winged ants.
  • Discarded wings- Swarmers lose their wings and can be commonly found close to a nest.
  • Wood damage- You might notice bubbling wallpaper or hollow and weakened wood. Termites eat wood from the inside out and can be hard to detect, so having a professional Fox technician inspect your property can be extremely beneficial.
  • Frass- Termite droppings look like tiny wood grains or sawdust. They are sometimes found near holes in wood.
